Full panel or sample?

Choose Full Panel for wall installation. Each quantity is one full panel. Choose Sample to check the color, fabric texture and suitability on your actual wall before ordering panels.

Panel size and overlap

Each full panel measures 19.9 inches wide by 47.2 inches high. Overlap adjoining panels by 0.25 inch. Each additional panel adds 19.65 inches of width after the overlap.

This extra material is needed to align the pattern from one panel to the next and allows for slight unevenness in the wall. A faint seam line may be visible when the overlap is left in place. For a flatter finish, an experienced wallpaper installer can carefully trim the overlap using a technique called a double cut.

How many panels do I need?

For a continuous wall, the widths below allow for the 0.25-inch overlaps. Round up to a whole panel and trim excess at the wall edge.

5 ft wall (60 inches wide): 4 full panels
8 ft wall (96 inches wide): 5 full panels
10 ft wall (120 inches wide): 7 full panels

Measure the full width and check it in more than one place. Use the widest measurement. For corners, doors, windows or a custom layout, contact us with your measurements before ordering so we can help plan the panel count.

Trimming and installation

Panels can be trimmed to the required height and at the wall edges. Follow the installation instructions, use the 0.25-inch overlap at each join, and test a sample on your surface first.
